ABOUT DRVU
DRVU is being built as a new option for rideshare, transportation, deliveries, and local business connections — designed around the people who actually use and provide these services every day.
DRVU isn’t just another choice. It’s a community-based one.

WHY DRVU EXISTS
Built because rideshare can be better.
DRVU grew out of firsthand rideshare experience and conversations with the people who depend on transportation every day. Drivers want their work to be valued. Passengers want fair and convenient transportation. Local businesses want meaningful ways to reach their communities. DRVU is being built to bring those interests closer together.
MORE THAN RIDESHARE
More ways to move. More ways to connect.
RIDESHARE
Convenient transportation designed around a more balanced passenger and driver model.
DELIVERIES
Planned delivery options that can help move packages and other eligible items across the community.
LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
Short-distance transportation designed for errands, appointments, neighborhood trips, and connections to local transit.
BUSINESS CONNECTIONS
Opportunities for local businesses and larger partners to connect with DRVU passengers and drivers.
BUILT FROM BEHIND THE WHEEL
The idea started on the road.
DRVU was conceived by founder Roy A. Ebalaroza through firsthand experience driving rideshare in Hawaiʻi and speaking directly with passengers, drivers, business owners, community members, and transportation professionals. Those conversations helped shape a simple idea: instead of building another rideshare company around the same assumptions, build one around what people actually experience every day.

Not just another app on your phone.
DRVU is intended to give people another way to think about transportation.
A RIDE WHEN YOU NEED ONE • A SHORT CONNECTION TO TRANSIT • A DELIVERY ACROSS THE COMMUNITY • A WAY TO DISCOVER LOCAL BUSINESSES
HAWAIʻI FIRST
Built in Hawaiʻi. Designed to grow responsibly.
DRVU is preparing to begin with an initial Oʻahu pilot. Hawaiʻi provides the opportunity to build carefully, listen to passengers and drivers, work with the community, and prove the model before expanding.
OʻAHU
Planned first DRVU pilot market
Hawaiʻi is not just where DRVU launches. It is where the DRVU model is being shaped.
THE LONG-TERM VISION
A local beginning with a much bigger vision.
If DRVU proves its model in Hawaiʻi, the long-term goal is responsible expansion throughout the United States and, over time, into selected international markets including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and parts of Europe.
The ambition is significant, but the philosophy remains the same: enter communities responsibly, listen locally, and preserve the balance between passengers, drivers, businesses, and the platform.
Built with the community, not just capital.
DRVU would rather grow with community support, local partnerships, crowdfunding, sponsorships, grants, and mission-aligned collaborators than allow the original purpose of the company to be replaced by a model focused only on maximizing investor returns.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS
MISSION-ALIGNED COLLABORATION
RESPONSIBLE GROWTH
This does not mean DRVU is against business growth or profitability. A sustainable company must succeed financially. The difference is that financial success should support the mission — not replace it.
Good ideas get stronger through collaboration.
DRVU welcomes conversations with people and organizations that share the goal of improving transportation and community mobility.
DRIVERS • PASSENGERS • SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS • TECHNOLOGY PROFESSIONALS • TRANSPORTATION EXPERTS • LOCAL BUSINESSES • COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS • PUBLIC-SERVICE PROFESSIONALS • BUSINESS ADVISORS • MISSION-ALIGNED PARTNERS
DRVU values direct conversations and meaningful relationships. When possible, we welcome opportunities to meet personally with people who want to help build something better.
Simple principles. Long-term purpose.
COMMUNITY — Build around the people who use and provide the service.
BALANCE — Create value for passengers without forgetting the driver.
FAIRNESS — Recognize the people contributing to the platform.
INNOVATION — Use technology to improve transportation.
GROWTH WITH PURPOSE — Expand responsibly without abandoning what makes DRVU different.
DRVU isn’t just another rideshare choice.
It’s a community-based choice for rides, deliveries, transportation, businesses, and the people who keep communities moving.
Be part of what DRVU becomes.
DRVU is being built for the passengers, drivers, businesses, partners, and communities who believe transportation can work differently.

Growth should benefit more than the company.
DRVU is being designed as a financially sustainable business, but its purpose is broader than maximizing returns for outside interests. The goal is to create a platform where growth can benefit passengers, drivers, businesses, and the communities DRVU enters.
BETTER VALUE FOR PASSENGERS • STRONGER OPPORTUNITY FOR DRIVERS • MORE CONNECTIONS FOR BUSINESSES • RESPONSIBLE COMMUNITY GROWTH
DRVU believes a transportation company can grow without losing sight of the people who made that growth possible.
